About Crawford & Power:
With roots in country, Americana, and southern rock, they seek to spawn a classic country music revival with a splash of sweet iced tea and whiskey. Ethan’s first introduction to music was from his dad, an accomplished dobro player, who toured with “The Steven Sisters” in the mid to late 90s. He is  influenced by his dad, Ernie Power, Jerry Douglas, Rob Ickes, Randy Kohrs, The Eagles, John Butler Trio, John Mayer, Travis Tritt, Corey Smith, The Dixie Chicks, Greensky Bluegrass, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Stoney LaRue and Chris Knight. Jakes desire to play music grew out of an inheritance of a slew of bluegrass instruments at a very young age. Attending a Hank Williams Jr. and Lynyrd Skynyrd show during his 8th grade year was the tipping point that inspired him dust off one of the guitars that he inherited and learn how to play. Persuaded to attend an Elton John concert with his mother, he realized that that music is universal. Good music can bring together different backgrounds, races, genders and he emptied his savings account and purchased a keyboard an taught himself to play. The duo met during a public speaking class in college realizing their common style and musical direction. They started the band in early 2014 and were fortunate to open for Ethan’s hero, Jerry Douglas, in their hometown about a month after playing together for the first time and have never looked back. The two started playing shows together and have been touring for nearly five years.

EMERGING INSPIRATIONAL COUNTRY ARTIST, DANI-ELLE KLEHA, NOMINATED FOR MULTIPLE HONORS

Special Recognition By Miranda Lambert’s Mutt Nation

NASHVILLE, TN. - (June 25, 2018) – Aspiring, performer and recording artist, Dani-elle Kleha, has been nominated for multiple independent artist awards for her talent and music recordings. She recently received nominations from the 2018 Josie Music Awards in five categories; Entertainer of the Year, Song of the Year for "Get Back Up," Female Artist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Music Video of the Year for "Joke's On You." Dani-elle has also been nominated by the 2018 Steamtown Music Awards in three categories; Country Act of the Year, Album of the Year for “Eleven,” and Song of the Year “Jokes On You.” She won the 2017 Josie Music Awards for “Female Artist of the Year” and also in 2017 was recognized as an “Emerging Artist” during CMA Music Festival in Nashville. She was the recipient of the 2016 Josie Music Awards' highest honor of “Modern Female Country Artist of the Year,” where she beat out more than three dozen other nominees and won the 2015 Josie Music Awards for Rising Artist Award in Nashville, TN and 2015 Steamtown Music Awards for Country Artist of the Year. Stream her music on Spotify, Deezer, YouTube, Google Play and download on Itunes, Apple Music and Amazon Music.

“To be nominated and recognized in so many prestigious categories by industry professionals is truly such a huge honor for me. It is always so humbling to see that what my team and are I doing is being recognized in the Country Music world. The Josie Music Awards are one of my favorite times of the year and I am looking forward to seeing so many of my fellow artists," says Dani-elle! “The Steamtown Music Awards are nominated by the fans, so to have 3 nods and know that that is solely from my fans support means more to me than they will ever know. It is because of the fans that I get to chase this dream and do what I love. We are on this journey together every step of the way."

In addition to the award nominations, Miranda Lambert’s “Mutt-Nation” Foundation has created a replica of her dog, Shyla. Pet rescue is very important to Dani-elle and after seeing Miranda's foundation at work during CMA Music Fest, she wanted to take part in some small way with the program. Their story began in June of 2010 while in Nashville, TN. The family dog, a Maltese named Bially, was back home in PA and upon return home, became very sick and passed suddenly from cancer. Adding to the emotional sadness was learning of her Grandfathers diagnosis of stage IV lung cancer. The adoption of two pound, Shyla-B (the B stands for Bially,) not only filled the void of loss and sadness, but rescued the family as much as they rescued her. You can purchase a replica of Shyla here and a donation will be made to “Mutt-Nation.”

“Miranda Lambert's Mutt-Nation Foundation is an amazing group. I am honored to share the story of how Shyla rescued both my parents and me,” shares Dani-elle. “Knowing a part of the proceeds from the purchase of the replica of Shyla go back to the foundation, as do all the MuttNation stuffed animals, is an added bonus towards more contributions.”

Dani-elle continues to promote her new single “Get Back Up” released in April 2018, a song that inspired her "Positive Youth Tour," a series of live shows performed at schools in Pennsylvania’s Lackawanna and Susquehanna counties, where the concerts include segments during which Dani-elle speaks to students about following their dreams, bullying, and self-worth.

In 1994, the Mwizerwa family lived through the horrific genocide in Rwanda where nearly one million people were killed in just one hundred days - including their parents and most members of their extended families. By the grace of God, William’s family (his wife, Ebralie, and their four children) survived the massacre. Running from their home without taking anything, they made a dangerous journey to Nairobi, Kenya. William came to the United States in May of 1998 and became very active at First Presbyterian Church in Nashville.

Celebrating 50 Yrs. As Grand Ole Opry Member

Country music legend Jeannie Seely has achieved chart topping songs as a solo artist, as a duet partner, and as a songwriter. Early in her career, Jeannie’s deeply moving vocals earned her the nickname of “Miss Country Soul”– a title that’s still used today. Jeannie’s biggest dream came true when she was inducted as a member of the world-famous Grand Ole Opry, becoming the first Pennsylvania native to do so. Jeannie also became the first female to regularly host segments of the weekly Opry shows. Jeannie takes much pride in her involvement and support of musicians’ rights. In 2017, Jeannie celebrated her 50th anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry. From her 1966 Top 10 Billboard album The Seely Style to her recent self–produced album Written In Song, consisting entirely of songs she’s written, Jeannie’s recordings have spanned six decades and provided enjoyment to country music fans all around the world. In his 2003 book “Finding Her Voice: Women In Country Music,” music critic Robert K. Oermann wrote, “With her chin-out, tough/tender, heart-of-gold manner, Jeannie Seely remains one of country’s most completely modern female personalities.” And that still holds true today.
